This week was a little hard but at the same time so good! Most of our
investigators went MIA or just told us they didn't want to meet with
us anymore. But it's hard not to be happy when you're trying your best
to live the gospel and have faith in Heavenly Fathers plan! We're so
blessed!
We got to drive to Lilburn for transfers on Wednesday morning. Atlanta
traffic is the real deal haha. It took us an hour and a half longer to
drive there than it should've! Woo! But I was able to hug Sister
Hawkins and see all of the senior missionaries that are in the office
so I was happy as can be!We were driving to a specific area in our
ward to knock on doors and I had a thought to turn around and try a
less active back in the opposite direction. I ignored it but an
intense feeling started to come with it. So I told my companion and we
turned around. They didn't answer.. And after trying many houses on
the street with no kind responses we decided it was time to leave. I
had another idea to try a less active member we had no information on.
We went over there and no answer. I was less discouraged than I
should've been thinking back to it haha. But we started walking down
the driveway right as a car pulled up. We met the Wilson's and they
invited us right in. We had a good lesson with them. He is an RM that
hasn't been to church since 1981. You could tell he was happy to have
us there with his family and they invited us back anytime. Her heart
isn't as softened to the idea but we are hopeful that will change. I
know we needed to turn around and try that first neighborhood so we
could be at the Wilsons at the right time. All the Lord asks of us is
a willing heart and a willing mind and he will take care of everything
else.
I love being a missionary.
Thank you for the prayers and love!
All my heart,
❤️
